Crossroads Connection

Crossroads Connection makes a difference in the lives of men as they help them transition back into society. Attending their worship services gives them a chance to interact with a diverse community and to be treated as a normal member of society, not an inmate.

What services do you provide?

Through partnerships with local churches, Crossroads Connection works together to meet the spiritual and physical needs of inmates and their families through several ministries including:

• Organizing and providing inmate transportation to and from the worship services and fellowship meal on Sunday nights.
• Providing a dynamic and engaging worship experience that exposes the wide variety of faith communities in Omaha.
• Providing a fellowship meal where attendees can break bread together with local church communities.

• Rides out into the community, like the grocery store.

How has the organization made a difference?

Crossroads Connection provides references for participants if they have been in attendance for a certain period of time. The organization also offers them a chance to apply for scholarship money to further their education.  The program has men who have attended the culinary program at Metro Community College and some who have obtained their CDL license.

Volunteer Opportunities/Getting Connected

People can get connected with Crossroads Connection by attending a worship service on a Sunday evening.  There, they can be shown what happens on a typical evening, as well as and meet our board members and sponsors.

Crossroads Connection offers ride along opportunities from the CCC-O to see how the nights flow from beginning to end. The organization is always looking for new people to work with and become a sponsor. Anyone who has a heart for prison ministry would be a great fit for the organization.
